Required Experience

Experience

• 1–4 years of professional experience as a Backend or Full-Stack Software Engineer.
• Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Recent experience at an early-stage startup (Seed to Series B).
• Strong ownership mindset with experience shipping production-ready software.
• Experience designing and building scalable backend systems.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from a Top 25 undergraduate university in the United States or Canada.
• Candidates with bootcamp-only education will not be considered.

Technical Skills

• Strong backend engineering experience.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
• Experience building scalable APIs and distributed backend systems.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Passion for backend engineering rather than AI/LLM-focused development.
