Role: Front End Developer

Location: Vancourver, onsite 4-5 days/week

14+ Years Exp.

Mandatory Skills: React, Type Script, Java Script. eCommerce domain preferred

• Prior experience of working in eCommerce domain and experience on platforms like commercetools (including Frontastic) will be a big plus
• Extensive experience in developing Front End applications using React and Next.JS
• Strong proficiency in Type Script, Java Script, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript objectmodel
• Thorough understanding of React.js and Next.js and its core principles
• Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plusFamiliarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
• Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, Yarn, etc.
• Familiarity with code versioning tools {{such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial}}
• Knowledge in CI/CD tools (Gitlab, Jenkins, Bamboo, VSTS, etc)
• Experience with authentication (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, etc) and authorization of APIs and securitybest practices such as validation, etc
• Hand on Experience in MongoDBAbility to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Experience with Agile / SCRUM methodology for product development
• Proven ability and desire to deliver projects on time with high quality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience working in SaaS environment
