Full Stack Developer/ Business Systems Developer


Overview

Insight Global is partnering with a leading Canadian organization to hire a Full Stack Developer/ Business Systems Developer to join a growing Operational Excellence team.


This role is ideal for a hands-on developer who enjoys building and enhancing custom business applications that directly support manufacturing, supply chain, and quality systems in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.



Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, and ASP.NET MVC
  • Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and modern frameworks (e.g., React)
  • Develop RESTful APIs and server-side logic to support system integrations
  • Design and manage database schemas, optimize queries, and develop stored procedures
  • Partner with business analysts and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions
  • Perform unit, integration, and system testing, while troubleshooting and debugging applications
  • Contribute to version control (GitLab) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Provide ongoing system support, enhancements, and performance tuning
  • Maintain clear technical documentation and provide regular status updates


Required Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in software development (intermediate level)
  • Strong proficiency in:

C#

.NET (Web Forms, MVC, .NET Core)

ASP.NET

  • Experience with front-end technologies:

HTML5, CSS, JavaScript

  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database design
  • Experience building and consuming REST APIs
  • Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills
  • Bilingual (French & English) – both written and spoken (mandatory)


Compensation:

$35/hr to $50/hr


Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.


Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as short-term and long-term disability, life insurance and AD&D. Employees will also have access to a registered retirement savings account with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
