About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at HAZEMAG & EPR GmbH. In this role, you will be responsible for the development, programming, and continuous enhancement of innovative software solutions tailored for our machinery and systems portfolio. Your expertise will contribute to creating robust, efficient, and user-friendly software modules that support our industrial equipment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and validate control systems, visualization interfaces, and communication protocols. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be involved in cutting-edge projects that influence the core operations of our machinery worldwide, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in software development for industrial automation or machinery control systems.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java.
• Experience with PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with communication interfaces, cloud integration, and database connectivity.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations related to industrial automation is a plus.
  
  

Responsibilities

• Development, programming, and ongoing improvement of innovative software solutions for machines and systems within the HAZEMAG portfolio.
• Creation and maintenance of standard software modules, as well as designing customized software solutions for special applications based on customer specifications.
• Conceptualization and implementation of modern visualization systems to enhance user interaction and system monitoring.
• Configuration and setup of communication interfaces, including cloud connections and database integrations to ensure seamless data exchange and system interoperability.
• Conducting commissioning, testing, and validation of complete control and drive systems both at the manufacturing site and on international customer sites.
• Collaborating with hardware engineers, project managers, and clients to deliver integrated solutions that meet technical and operational requirements.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting during project implementation and after deployment.
