We're hiring an experienced Software Engineer(Backend) to join an innovative AI SaaS company in Japan that is revolutionizing how businesses leverage conversational data.

Our AI-powered voice analytics platform transforms phone calls, web meetings, and in-person conversations into actionable business insights. Processing over 1 million voice data entries every day, the platform empowers organizations to improve sales performance, streamline operations, and uncover new business opportunities through advanced AI and speech analytics.

As part of a fast-growing engineering team, you'll develop scalable backend systems, build new product features, and help shape the future of conversational AI.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, test, and operate new features for our AI voice analysis platform
• Develop backend APIs and real-time processing systems for telephony, meetings, call recording, and contact center solutions
• Build shared APIs and data platforms utilizing voice analytics and generative AI
• Improve system scalability, reliability, and performance while addressing technical debt
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Business teams to deliver impactful features
• Design and manage authentication and authorization systems (SAML, OpenID Connect, RBAC)
• Contribute to multilingual capabilities and international product expansion

Must-Have Qualifications

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience designing and developing web applications
• Experience working in a collaborative, team-based development environment
• 3+ years of backend development experience using one or more of the following: Python / Go / Ruby / TypeScript / Kotlin
• Japanese level required: Business / Fluent

Preferred Qualifications

• Backend development experience using Python
• Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines
• Team Lead or Technical Lead experience
• Experience developing and operating SaaS products
• Experience building and managing cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
