We are looking for an excellent Software Engineer to join one of Sweden's fastest growing start-ups which is backed by Nvidia, Microsoft and AWS. The company also operates under the Inspection for Strategic Products.

Location: Stockholm City, Blasieholmsgatan 2A

Employment: Full-time, permanent, with an initial probationary period of 6 months

Start: As soon as you are available

About the job

Antrino Labs is building the platform that makes every square meter intelligent.

The physical world runs on processes nobody can actually see. Goods move, people queue, machines idle, space goes unused, and the decisions made about all of it are based on samples, guesses, and reports written after the fact. Software solved this for the digital world twenty years ago. Everything online is measured, understood, and acted on in real time. The physical world is still dark.

We are building the execution layer that closes that gap. Antrino lets any organization deploy vision intelligence into a physical space and get back what is actually happening there, as structured, queryable, real-time information rather than footage. Not a research project, not a custom integration, not a team of ML engineers. A platform, where you describe what matters to you and deploy it.

What people build on it is broader than what we designed for. Operators use it to understand processes, find where time and space are being wasted, measure flow and utilization, catch problems while they are still happening, and turn all of it into data good enough to act on. The pattern holds across retail, logistics, manufacturing, and public environments: once a space can be understood in real time, the questions people ask of it change.

Everything is built on Privacy by Design. Data protection and GDPR compliance are part of the architecture, not a layer added afterwards.

We recently closed our Seed round, announced together with Dagens Industri, and we are scaling to meet demand. Antrino Labs is also registered with Inspektionen för strategiska produkter (ISP), the Swedish authority for strategic and dual-use products. We are also proudly

The role

We are hiring experienced Fullstack Engineers to build the product surface where customers compose intelligence, deploy it into physical spaces, and act on what comes back.

This is not a role where you are handed tickets. You will own features end-to-end, interface, API, data model, and the operational behavior of the thing once it is live in a customer's facility. The problems are real and specific: rendering large numbers of live streams without melting the browser, designing a composition canvas where someone who has never written code can build a working intelligence pipeline and deploy it, building the review surfaces an operator trusts at 3am, and holding all of it steady as deployments scale from a single site to an estate.

We value experience and we are direct about why. This is a small team building infrastructure that customers depend on operationally. Engineers who have already shipped and maintained production systems make different decisions than engineers who have not, and we would rather hire fewer, more senior people and give them real ownership.

Your main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Building and owning features end-to-end across frontend and backend — from interface to API to schema to production behavior
  • Designing the product surfaces customers work in every day: the Studio composition canvas, deployment and environment management, live review, evidence handling, and analytics
  • Developing and maintaining the backend services and APIs that power stream ingestion, deployment of intelligence pipelines, and delivery of results into the systems customers already use
  • Working with our Python inference services and real-time pipelines so model output lands in the product as something an operator can act on
  • Keeping the platform fast and reliable as streams, results, and users scale — performance work on real-time surfaces is a first-class concern here, not cleanup
  • Participating in architecture decisions and making the case for how systems should be built
  • Debugging production issues across the stack, including the parts that run on customer sites
  • Improving tooling, developer experience, and internal workflows so the team ships faster
  • Reviewing code, sharing knowledge, and raising the engineering standard as the team grows

Our stack

We would rather be specific than list every framework in existence. You do not need experience with all of this, but you should recognize most of it and be able to argue about it.

  • Frontend: Next.js (App Router), React, TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui
  • Data and auth: Supabase — PostgreSQL with row-level security
  • Backend services: TypeScript APIs alongside Python (FastAPI) services for inference and real-time processing
  • Streaming: RTSP ingestion, RTSP→HLS conversion, live and archive pipelines, with the architecture built to take more than one class of input
  • Infrastructure: Azure, , AWS, object storage, GitHub Actions, on-site compute reached over Tailscale

Who we are looking for

  • Substantial experience as a fullstack engineer on production systems that real users depended on
  • Strong TypeScript and modern React — you have built and maintained a non-trivial Next.js or comparable application, not just used one
  • Real experience designing backend services, APIs, and data models, including PostgreSQL and thinking about access control at the database level
  • A working understanding of performance, scalability, and distributed systems — you know where latency comes from and how to find it
  • Experience with real-time data, streaming systems, or AI-powered services is a strong advantage
  • Cloud experience — Azure, AWS, or GCP
  • You make decisions with incomplete information, take responsibility for the outcome, and say so clearly when something you built was wrong
  • Excellent written and spoken English. Swedish is a plus, not a requirement

What we offer

  • Participation in our stock option programme. We want the people building the platform to own part of it, and option allocation is part of the conversation for this role from the start
  • Competitive salary, discussed openly and early in the process
  • Occupational pension, six weeks of annual leave, and hardware of your choice
  • Real ownership of a product surface, with direct access to founders and to customers
  • An office in central Stockholm at Blasieholmsgatan 2A, where the team works together in person most of the week

Process

We review applications continuously and contact candidates we think are a good match.

  • An introductory conversation about your background and the role
  • A technical conversation, we basically discuss systems you have built and how you made the decisions you made. No whiteboard algorithm puzzles
  • A working session with the engineering team on a problem close to what you would actually be doing
  • A conversation with the founders about ownership, options, and terms

References may be requested in the final stage. We aim to keep the process short and to respect your time.

Apply with your CV and, if you have one, a link to something you have built. A GitHub profile, a shipped product, or a short note about a system you are proud of tells us more than a cover letter.
