Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Software Developer at CheetahNova. The Software Developer will design, build, and maintain web and software solutions that support client growth, including back-end services, APIs, and integrations for websites, applications, and automation tools. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean and efficient code, implementing object-oriented designs, optimizing performance and security, and collaborating with designers, digital strategists, and SEO specialists. The role also involves reviewing requirements, estimating effort, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to technical architecture decisions. The Software Developer will participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement of development workflows and best practices.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development concepts, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), with experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, Java, C#).
• Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and server-side frameworks.
• Understanding of web architecture, security best practices, performance optimization, and scalable system design.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, with clear communication and reliable time management.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and modern development workflows (CI/CD, code reviews, testing).
• Experience or interest in areas such as custom software development, automation, AI tools, or integrating with third-party services is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
