Make a difference with Laerdal where immersive technology transforms healthcare quality and education across the globe. With over 2,200 colleagues, join a team where collaboration and engagement are prioritized in helping save one million more lives, every year, by 2030.

About the role

As a Senior Full Stack Software Developer in the Digital Enablement & Ecosystem Platform (DEEP) team, you'll help build the shared platforms and services that power digital products used around the world.

You'll join an experienced team that enables product teams across Laerdal to deliver secure, scalable, and high-quality digital solutions faster. Working closely with engineers, architects, product managers, and designers, you'll have the opportunity to influence both technology and ways of working.

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, building great software, and helping others succeed.

What you will work on

  • Building modern cloud-native applications and platform capabilities used across multiple products and teams
  • Designing and developing backend services, APIs, and user-facing solutions
  • Contributing to technical decisions and architecture discussions
  • Improving developer experience, engineering practices, and platform capabilities
  • Exploring new technologies and AI-assisted development approaches where they create real value
  • Collaborating with talented colleagues across disciplines to deliver solutions that make a difference

Rather than working from detailed specifications, you'll help shape solutions from idea to production and have a real influence on the technical direction of the products and platforms you support.

What we're looking for

We believe great developers come from different backgrounds and experiences. If most of the points below sound like you, we'd love to hear from you.

  • Solid experience developing software in a professional environment
  • Strong backend development skills, preferably with C#/.NET
  • Experience with modern frontend development, ideally React
  • Experience building APIs and scalable applications
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern development practices
  • A passion for creating maintainable, high-quality software
  • Enjoys working closely with others and actively contributes to a culture of learning and knowledge sharing
  • Good English communication skills

Nice if you've worked with

  • Azure or other cloud-native platforms
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices
  • Security, authentication, or identity solutions
  • AI-enabled products or development tools

About the team

The DEEP team creates the foundations that enable digital product teams across Laerdal to deliver better solutions, faster.

We're a collaborative and supportive team that values learning, trust, and continuous improvement. You'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful technical challenges while contributing to solutions that help save lives and improve healthcare globally.

What we offer

  • Interesting and meaningful work contributing to our mission
  • Opportunities for personal and professional growth
  • A great, diverse, inclusive, and international work environment
  • Innovative and forward-thinking technology
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package
  • Flexible work arrangements, an extensive wellbeing program with social, cultural and sports activities and benefits such as discounted public transport, wardrobe with towel service, company cabins, and more.
