Role Description The Web System Developer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web-based systems and applications that support EgoTECHworld’s services and content. Day-to-day tasks include implementing new features, improving existing functionalities, and ensuring system reliability and performance. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, translating them into technical solutions, and integrating databases and back-end services with front-end components. The Web System Developer will also troubleshoot issues, perform code reviews, and contribute to documentation for system architecture and processes. This position requires proactive communication, adherence to secure coding practices, and alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in System Development and Software Development, with experience building and maintaining scalable web systems.
• Candidates should possess solid Programming skills (e.g., JavaScript, Python, or similar languages) for both front-end and back-end development.
• Candidates should possess practical experience with Databases (relational or NoSQL) and data modeling to support web applications.
• Candidates should possess Testing skills, including unit, integration, and performance testing, to ensure system quality and stability.
• Relevant qualifications include experience with web frameworks (such as React, Angular, Node.js, or Django), version control (e.g., Git), and API integration.
• Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with cloud platforms, security best practices, agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment, manage time independently, and communicate clearly with diverse, distributed teams.
