The Role
The Role
- Play a critical role in the sustainment of the current environment and delivery of new capabilities.
- Develop solutions to complex technical issues and problems.
- Lead by example through day-to-day development and contribute to technical decision-making.
- Support the wider team through mentoring and technical guidance.
- Deliver high-quality, production-ready software across backend and frontend technologies.
- Contribute to full-stack delivery, including Java backend services and React/TypeScript single-page applications.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience.
- Substantial hands-on delivery using Java (8, 17, 21) and REST API design/implementation.
- Modern SPA development experience using React/TypeScript, Angular, or Vue.
- Strong understanding of design patterns and a structured approach to software development.
- Proven experience delivering complex changes in production environments.
- Familiarity with Agile software development processes and CI/CD concepts.
- Competitive salary between £61,500 - £78,800 per year.
