About The Role

We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Macro Helix, a leading provider of 340B program management technology for hospital health system covered entities and retail contract pharmacy networks. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing innovative enterprise-level applications that support our mission to enhance healthcare delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA, and other engineering professionals, to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, with hands-on experience in C#, Angular, and cloud technologies such as Azure. You will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to deployment and maintenance. This role offers high visibility within the organization and opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies like Databricks, Snowflake, and microservices architecture. You will also have the chance to prototype new ideas, improve existing systems, and contribute to modernization efforts of legacy products, all while making a tangible impact on healthcare operations and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant software development experience in a team environment
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET Core for back-end development
  • Experience with SQL Server 2012 or higher
  • Hands-on experience with front-end development using Angular, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, and JSON
  • Experience in building RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS, preferably Azure
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools like JIRA, Jenkins, and Git
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level applications using C#, Angular, and related technologies
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and system designs
  • Prototype concepts and demonstrate solutions through documentation, flowcharts, and diagrams
  • Implement performance enhancements, scalability solutions, and distributed processing capabilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including planning, coding, testing, and deployment
  • Support QA teams in testing activities and performance tuning
  • Debug and troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions
  • Modernize legacy systems using the latest cloud and microservices technologies
  • Build secure, scalable, and maintainable code following best practices and standards
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
