Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Fullstack React and NestJS Developer role based in Utako. The developer will design, build, and maintain web applications using React for the front end and NestJS for the back end, ensuring secure, performant, and scalable solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing new features, integrating APIs, troubleshooting and resolving bugs, writing clean and testable code, and collaborating with designers, product managers, and other engineers. The role also involves participating in code reviews, optimizing application performance, maintaining documentation, and contributing to architectural decisions and best practices across the stack.

Qualifications

• Strong Front-End Development skills, including React and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
• Experience in Back-End Web Development using NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks.
• Solid Software Development fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Proficiency with JavaScript and state management libraries such as Redux.js.
• Comfort with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration between front-end and back-end services.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases and basic schema design.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, testing (unit/integration), and debugging tools.
• Ability to work on-site in Utako, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with deployment pipelines, CI/CD, and cloud platforms is an added advantage.
