We're looking for a mid to senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join a 4-person Scrum team supporting critical application development. This is a high-priority opening on a small, high-impact pod, so you'll step into a team that's actively shipping and looking for someone who can contribute quickly. The team is in the midst of modernizing a legacy system, migrating from a Struts-based monolith to Spring Boot microservices, while also maintaining a micro-frontend architecture on the Angular side.
What You'll Do
Design, develop, and support full stack applications spanning backend services and frontend interfaces
Contribute to ongoing modernization efforts, working across both legacy Struts-based systems and newer Spring Boot microservices
Build and maintain Angularapplications within a micro-frontend architecture
Collaborate closely with a Product Owner, Business Analyst, and fellow developers within an Agile/Scrum team
Participate actively in sprint planning, code reviews, and day-to-day delivery
Leverage AI-assisted productivity tools (such as Claude or Cursor) to support and accelerate development workflows
What We're Looking For
5–7 years of full stack software development experience
Strong hands-on experience with Java
Experience with Oracle/SQL or similar relational database platforms
Experience designing and working within microservices architecture
Hands-on experience with Angular, ideally within a micro-frontend architecture (module federation or similar)
Comfort working across legacy and modern codebases simultaneously
Experience with AWS cloud environments
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a Scrum/Agile team
Nice to Have
Financial services or regulated industry experience
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Claude, Cursor, or similar) as part of your day-to-day workflow
Compensation
$140,000–$150,000 base salary, plus approximately $7,000 annual bonus
