Role Description The Full Stack Web Developer (Django MVT) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Django’s Model-View-Template architecture, working across both front-end and back-end components. Day-to-day tasks include implementing responsive user interfaces, integrating databases and APIs, optimizing application performance, and ensuring code quality through testing and documentation. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and deploy secure, scalable features that align with client needs.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, requiring close coordination with colleagues and participation in regular reviews, stand-ups, and project planning activities.

Qualifications

• Strong back-end web development skills, including Django MVT and related server-side technologies
• Front-end development skills with HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for responsive, user-friendly interfaces
• Experience in software development and full-stack development, covering design, implementation, testing, and deployment
• Solid understanding of relational databases, ORM concepts, and API integration (RESTful or similar)
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows
• Knowledge of security best practices, performance optimization, and basic DevOps concepts
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu, communicate clearly, and collaborate effectively in diverse teams
• Prior experience in building production-ready web applications and troubleshooting complex technical issues is highly beneficial
