Claritri helps enterprises understand their technology landscape, decide what to invest in, improve or retire, and act on those decisions.

We bring together data about applications, infrastructure, vendors, contracts and costs, then use AI agents to identify opportunities to reduce waste, manage risk and improve business performance.

We are looking for a senior, hands-on engineer to join our founding engineering team and help build and enhance our core platform.

The opportunity

You will work closely with our CTO and founders, owning features from technical design through deployment and ongoing improvement.

The role spans backend services, frontend experiences, APIs, data and AI capabilities. You will write production code, make practical technical decisions, troubleshoot issues and help establish engineering practices as we grow.

This role suits someone who enjoys building, takes responsibility for outcomes and is comfortable working in a fast-moving startup.

What you will do

• Build backend services and REST APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Develop intuitive web experiences using React and TypeScript.
• Design PostgreSQL data models and build enterprise data ingestion capabilities.
• Integrate AI capabilities, including LLMs, agents and document-processing workflows.
• Implement secure authentication, authorization and tenant isolation.
• Build reliable background jobs, integrations and asynchronous workflows.
• Test, deploy, monitor and improve the features you own.
• Collaborate with the CTO and founding team on architecture, product decisions and code reviews.

You will help advance our working platform and support active customer proofs of concept.

Must haves

• 8–12 years of software development experience.
• Strong, recent hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET Core, .NET 8+ and REST APIs.
• Production experience with React and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with PostgreSQL, including relational data modelling and query performance.
• Experience building and deploying applications on Azure and/or Google Cloud.
• Ability to independently own features from design through implementation, testing and deployment.
• Sound engineering fundamentals, including application security, automated testing, debugging and maintainable code.Must haves
• Clear communication, reliable delivery and comfort working through ambiguity in an early-stage startup.

Nice to haves

• Experience with LLM integrations, RAG, AI agents, tool calling, embeddings or vector databases.
• .NET 10 experience.
• Previous startup or early-stage product experience.
• CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code or cloud-native development experience.
• Experience building multi-tenant SaaS products and distributed workflows.
• Mentoring, code review or technical leadership experience.
• Previous AI engineering experience is a bonus. Strong software engineering skills and the ability to learn and apply new technologies matter most.

• You do not need experience with every tool listed, but you should be confident working across the core stack.
