Senior Full-Stack Engineer

Duxre · US remote, Pacific hours preferred · Reports to Head of Engineering

About Duxre

Commercial real estate is a trillion-dollar industry run on PDFs, spreadsheets, and relationships that live in someone's head. Every deal starts with materials a human made for other humans, and every party to that deal, brokers, investors, lenders, rebuilds the same understanding from scratch.

Duxre is the platform for dealmakers. We started with brokers because they sit at the center of every transaction: upload the offering memorandum and flyer you already made, and Duxre builds the listing, generates a cited AI Brief, and carries the deal through a CRE-native CRM, email engine, deal intelligence, and branded websites. The listing is the wedge. The system underneath is built to carry the whole industry, with Dash, our AI layer, connecting brokers, principals, and capital around a single source of truth for each deal.

We were built by a practicing dealmaker who still runs live transactions on the product every week. Product decisions get tested against real deals, not roadmaps. See duxre.com.

Who we're looking for

We're hiring a Staff Full-Stack Engineer who has built real software from nothing and wants to do it again on a small team where the work reaches customers within days.

You're full stack in the actual sense. You're strong in Python and TypeScript/React, productive in C#/.NET, and you don't wait for a specialist to touch the database or the deployment. You've designed schemas, written and reversed migrations, stood up services on Azure or an equivalent cloud, set up CI/CD, and read production telemetry to find your own bugs. You've worked with LLM APIs in production and you know the difference between a model problem and a pipeline problem. You've seen what a good result looks like and you don't ship until yours is at least that good. You own outcomes. You carry a feature from design through production and verify it yourself against real inputs. You don't need a ticket to tell you something is broken and you don't need a meeting to decide to fix it. You'd rather ship one thing that works than five things that mostly do.You're resourceful. When a path is blocked you find another one. When a tool doesn't exist you build it or route around it. You've probably done this at an early-stage company or on a small team where nobody else was going to. You work hard and you're honest about where you're at. When something isn't done, you say so.

Requirements

  • 8+ years shipping production software you owned end to end, including at least one system built from scratch
  • Python, TypeScript/React, and C#/.NET, with the ability to move between them in a single day
  • SQL and document-store data modeling; comfortable with migrations and backfills
  • Azure (or equivalent) and CI/CD: you can deploy, configure, and debug your own work
  • Hands-on experience integrating LLM APIs into product features
  • US-based, able to work Pacific hours, fluent written English

Nice to have

  • Commercial real estate exposure of any kind
  • Evals or synthetic monitoring for AI features
  • Experience simplifying a codebase rather than expanding it

How we'll interview

A short call with the Head of Engineering, a take-home built on a real problem from our product, then a working session with the founder. We move in days, not weeks.

Compensation

$144,000 to $180,000 base salary per year plus meaningful equity and health benefits.
