Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Web Developer role based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The Web Developer will design, develop, and maintain company websites and web applications that showcase our safari offerings, travel services, and brand identity. Day-to-day responsibilities include building responsive user interfaces, integrating back-end services, optimizing site performance, and ensuring secure, reliable functionality. The role also involves collaborating with marketing and operations teams to implement new features, update content, and improve the online booking experience. The Web Developer will monitor website analytics, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to continuous enhancement of our digital presence.
Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive Web Design.
• Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development and Programming skills, such as working with server-side languages, frameworks, and databases.
• Candidates should possess solid Web Development skills, covering end-to-end website architecture, integration of APIs, and performance optimization.
• Relevant experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress or similar), version control tools (e.g., Git), and cross-browser testing is beneficial.
• A diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams are essential.
• Familiarity with UX/UI principles, SEO best practices, and security standards for web applications will be an advantage.
