About The Role
Logoslabs is seeking a Software Engineer to help design, build, test, and maintain software applications. In this role, you will work with product, design, and engineering colleagues to translate user and business needs into practical technical solutions. You will contribute throughout the development lifecycle, from understanding requirements and evaluating approaches to implementation, release, and ongoing improvement.
The ideal candidate combines strong software development fundamentals with sound judgment and a collaborative mindset. You can work independently on well-defined tasks while seeking input when decisions affect the broader system. You take responsibility for the quality of your work, communicate progress and risks clearly, and remain open to feedback. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful product work while continuing to develop your technical skills.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. You should have professional or substantial project experience building and maintaining software, along with a solid understanding of programming principles, data structures, algorithms, and software design practices.
Relevant experience with one or more programming languages, web technologies, application frameworks, databases, APIs, and version control systems is expected. You should understand how to write readable, maintainable code and how to test software before it reaches users. Familiarity with cloud services, automated testing, continuous integration, monitoring, or modern deployment practices is an advantage.
Strong analytical and communication skills are important. You should be able to break complex problems into manageable steps, explain technical concepts to colleagues with different backgrounds, and participate constructively in code reviews. A willingness to learn new tools and approaches, adapt to changing priorities, and consider accessibility, security, and performance in development decisions is highly valued.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain software features in alignment with product requirements and engineering standards. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to clarify user needs, assess technical options, and plan achievable solutions. Produce clean, well-documented code and contribute to code reviews that strengthen quality, consistency, and knowledge sharing.
Investigate defects, troubleshoot application and system issues, and implement fixes that address underlying causes. Help improve application performance, reliability, security, and usability. Participate in technical planning, estimation, and discussions about architecture and development practices. Maintain appropriate documentation, communicate progress and dependencies, and escalate risks early. Support releases and monitor software behavior after deployment, using feedback and operational insights to guide improvements.
Benefits
Logoslabs offers the opportunity to work with a collaborative team on practical technology challenges and products. Employees can expect a supportive environment for professional development, regular opportunities to exchange feedback, and exposure to different areas of software delivery. Role-related benefits, compensation, and work arrangements will be discussed during the hiring process and may vary according to location and employment terms.
