About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Lead to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will work closely with product managers, QA leads, and fellow engineers to elevate our software products to new heights. You will have the opportunity to directly impact our clients by shaping the architecture and development of our client-facing solutions. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and leadership skills, including proficiency in at least one object-oriented or general-purpose programming language such as C#, Java, Python, or PHP. You should have a solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns, with experience implementing caching, full-text search, machine learning, authentication, and monitoring solutions. Familiarity with AWS services like S3, RDS, Elastic Cache, Lambda, and others is essential, along with experience integrating systems via REST APIs.

Additionally, you should be experienced with web technologies such as ASP.NET MVC, Laravel, AngularJS, React, and JavaScript frameworks. Knowledge of DevOps tools including Docker, Terraform, and Bitbucket is required. A comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies (SCRUM, backlog grooming, sprint planning), and testing practices (unit, integration, automated regression, performance testing) is necessary. Strong mentorship abilities, stakeholder management, and a data-driven approach to problem-solving are also key attributes for success in this role.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Engineering Lead, your primary responsibilities will include serving as a subject matter expert on front-end and middleware architecture, data modeling, and database design. You will define and execute strategic technology initiatives to support the scaling of our software infrastructure in response to business growth. End-to-end ownership of technical design, full-stack development, testing, and deployment of client-facing features will be central to your role, including integrating third-party products and libraries as needed.

You will focus on improving development velocity and enhancing our development processes by reducing technical debt, creating reusable components, and establishing scalable frameworks. Mentorship will be a key aspect of your role, guiding engineers, QA members, and product managers through all phases of product development, from initial design to rollout and iteration. You will also participate actively in code reviews, technical design discussions, and business design reviews, driving consensus and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
