Quickbase is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer who will design, build, and enhance modern web applications and backend services that power innovative, AI-driven product experiences for our no-code platform. In this role, you will work cross-functionally to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions while contributing to system reliability, engineering best practices, and a fast-moving collaborative culture.

Skills And Experience You Bring

• Strong software engineering experience building and maintaining production-grade applications across frontend and backend systems.
• Full-stack experience is preferred, but we are open to candidates with deeper specialization in either frontend or backend development.
• Ability to work efficiently in a language-agnostic environment and ramp up quickly on new technologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Solid engineering fundamentals, including testing, system design, data modeling, performance optimization, and building maintainable and scalable architectures.
• Experience with modern web technologies such as React and Node.js is highly valued.
• Backend-focused experience in designing and building scalable, reliable high-performance services, APIs, and data integrations.
• Experience working with cloud-based infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, observability, and modern deployment practices.
• Experience integrating AI-powered features, working with AI APIs, or using AI-assisted development tools to improve product and engineering outcomes.
• Ability to independently own projects and deliver high-quality software in iterative development environments.
• Passion for learning new technologies and continuously improving engineering practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
• Customer-focused mindset with attention to usability, reliability, performance, accessibility and overall product quality.
  
  

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain full-stack application features and services.
• Build and enhance AI-powered product experiences using modern frameworks and tooling.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to translate customer and business needs into scalable and impactful solutions.
• Develop intuitive, responsive, and maintainable user experiences with reliable backend services that support high performance product experiences.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.
• Help improve system reliability, scalability, and performance over time.
• Contribute to a collaborative, innovative and fast-moving engineering culture focused on continuous improvement and customer impact.

Pay Range

€45,710.32 - €71,830.51

This role is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan. Incentives are earned based on employee performance against defined metrics and company goals.
