Role Description This is a full-time, remote role for a Junior Full Stack Developer. The person in this role will contribute to building and maintaining web applications that power TrueTannage’s sourcing and export platform. Day-to-day work includes implementing front-end user interfaces, developing back-end APIs, integrating databases, writing clean and testable code, and participating in code reviews. The Junior Full Stack Developer will collaborate with product, design, and senior engineering team members to implement features, resolve bugs, and improve performance and security. The role also involves learning and applying best practices in software development, documentation, and deployment in a fast-moving startup environment.
Qualifications

• Foundational web development skills, including proficiency in HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
• Experience with at least one front-end framework (such as React, Vue, or Angular) and responsive UI development.
• Basic back-end development skills with a server-side language (such as Node.js, Python, or Ruby) and RESTful API design.
• Working knowledge of databases (such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB) and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with version control tools (such as Git), collaborative development workflows, and code review practices.
• Understanding of testing principles, debugging techniques, and performance optimization for web applications.
• Ability to communicate clearly, work effectively in a remote team, and take feedback constructively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Interest in B2B marketplaces, supply chain technology, or the leather and manufacturing industry is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new tools and frameworks, and to grow within a fast-paced startup environment.
