For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Marketplace to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space.

This role will focus on building and improving a marketplace experience within the company’s technology platform, with an emphasis on scalable features, strong architecture, and reliable delivery. You will partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to shape solutions from design through implementation. The work will involve integrating external systems and APIs, validating ideas through prototypes, and delivering well-tested code that supports high-quality user experiences.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $130,000 – $155,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Write maintainable code while implementing new features
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineers to deliver high-quality software
• Engage in collaborative design and architecture of features
• Deliver well-tested, maintainable, and performant code
• Research and implement prototypes to validate assumptions
• Review peers' code for quality and consistency
• Participate in planning and designing features for the marketplace
  
  

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a software engineer
• 3+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails
• 2+ years of experience with ReactJS and Typescript
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Expertise in integrating with external systems, APIs, and webhooks
• Solid experience in architectural problem-solving and design
• Excellent written communication skills
