About The Role
The role builds responsive, accessible user interfaces for customer-facing web products used across desktop and
mobile environments. The frontend stack centers on
TypeScript,
React, and modern browser APIs, with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and maintainable component architecture.
You will work closely with product designers,
backend engineers, and product managers to turn complex workflows into clear, fast experiences. The team owns features from technical design through delivery, instrumentation,
testing, and ongoing iteration.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and ship production interfaces using TypeScript, React, Next.js, and modern CSS practices
- Design reusable component patterns and contribute to a shared design system using tools such as Storybook
- Integrate frontend applications with REST and GraphQL APIs, handling loading states, errors, authentication, and real-time updates
- Improve performance across Core Web Vitals, bundle size, rendering behavior, and client-side data fetching
- Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests using Jest, React Testing Library, and Playwright or Cypress
- Partner with designers and backend engineers to define technical approaches, scope work, and deliver reliable product features
- Monitor frontend health through analytics, logging, and error tracking tools such as Sentry; diagnose and resolve production issues
What We Are Looking For
- 3–8 years of professional frontend or full-stack software engineering experience, including ownership of production web applications
- Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills with deep experience building applications in React
- Experience with Next.js or a comparable modern frontend framework, including server-side rendering, routing, and code splitting
- Solid understanding of browser fundamentals, semantic HTML, accessibility standards, responsive design, and web performance
- Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs and working effectively with authentication, caching, and asynchronous state management
- Strong testing, debugging, code review, and Git practices; able to communicate technical tradeoffs clearly across disciplines
- Bonus: experience with design systems, React Native, WebSockets, frontend observability, or cloud deployment platforms such as Vercel or AWS
