About the Role


The company is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer to drive the design, development, integration, and support of enterprise applications and healthcare technology solutions. This is a full-time role for an experienced software engineer who can contribute hands-on while providing technical leadership across complex development initiatives.


You will work with internal stakeholders and external clients to understand requirements, develop application enhancements, support implementations, and resolve production issues. The role combines full-stack development, cloud engineering, API integrations, database optimization, and Level III production support.


The position is open to remote work, with approximately 10% travel to operations centers, including Louisville, Kentucky, and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.


Key Responsibilities


•Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise web applications using Microsoft technologies and modern full-stack frameworks.

•Build responsive, user-friendly interfaces using Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

•Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, and Web API.

•Design, optimize, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases, including T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.

•Contribute to application architecture, technical design, and solution planning to deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.

•Build and support integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, XML, SFTP, and third-party services.

•Develop microservices, asynchronous messaging solutions, and event-driven integrations.

•Work with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus.

•Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git.

•Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and deliver enhancements.

•Support customer implementations, software deployments, production releases, and post-production activities.

•Provide Level III production support for enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and integrations.

•Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective solutions for production issues.

•Lead code reviews, mentor team members, share technical knowledge, and promote development best practices.

•Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release planning.

•Maintain API specifications, integration documentation, and operational procedures.

•Ensure software follows secure coding practices, organizational standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

•Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems and development practices.

•Participate in an on-call production support rotation as required.


Required Qualifications


•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

•At least 6 years of full-stack software development experience.

•Strong experience developing enterprise web applications using Microsoft technologies.

•Proficiency in C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET, Web API, Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.

•Experience designing and supporting RESTful APIs, microservices, asynchronous messaging, webhooks, and event-driven systems.

•Experience with integrations involving REST, JSON, XML, SFTP, webhooks, and third-party APIs.

•Advanced Microsoft SQL Server skills, including T-SQL, stored procedures, database design, and performance optimization.

•Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, and Azure DevOps.

•Experience working with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

•Experience supporting production enterprise applications and troubleshooting complex technical issues.

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

•Ability to collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external clients while managing multiple priorities.


Preferred Qualifications


•Experience with SSIS, SSRS, Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or other modern reporting platforms.

•Experience integrating CRM, pharmacy, ERP, healthcare, or other third-party systems.

•Knowledge of secure software development, authentication methods, and healthcare data privacy requirements, including HIPAA.

•Demonstrated technical leadership through solution design, code reviews, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.

•Previous technical lead or project lead experience.

•Experience working directly with customers during implementations and production support.

•Experience in healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or another regulated industry.
