Job Summary:

The Software Engineer, Fullstack will build internally developed web-based solutions. This role will be critical in accelerating the development and release of tools to advance our patient specific design processes.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Prepared to both make and implement key decisions regarding the web application and QA infrastructure.
• Active development of new app features.
• Active development of the apps automated test infrastructure.
• Debugging and remediation of software defects
• Support and optimize a critical production environment, including refactoring of existing systems, optimizing the platform for scaling and increasing data flow.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience building web applications with modern frameworks
• First-hand professional experience as a full stack developer with React, Node.js, Typescript
• Firsthand professional experience writing test cases using Jest, React Testing Library and Cypress.
• Ability to write clean, well designed, scalable code
• Knowledge of databases and backend experience, preferably Postgres
• Experience Writing full coverage test cases using Jest & Cypress
• Experience working with a cloud services provider (Google Cloud/AWS/Azure, etc)

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Experience with styled-components, material-ui, prisma.io
• Experience with Python
• Experience iteratively developing software products in the healthcare space or clinical expertise
• Experience working with FDA regulated software as a medical device (SaMD) product development
• Experience in working on and building software engineering teams at a rapid growth startup

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
