About The Company
Energy Exploration Technologies, Inc. (EnergyX) has a mission to become a worldwide leader in the global transition to sustainable energy. Founded in 2018, the company is fundamentally changing the way humanity is powering our world and storing clean energy with breakthrough lithium-ion technology and energy storage solutions.
About The Role
We are hiring our first dedicated AI Engineer to do the same thing internally: bring our marketing, brand, and investor relations systems in house and run them on AI-native infrastructure we own. This is a build and ship role. We are currently building our new AI-native
website and internal tooling in-house, and you will take ownership of that infrastructure: maintaining it, extending it, and building the systems around it that let a small marketing team operate like a large one. You will work directly with the Chief Marketing Officer and alongside brand, content, and investor relations teams. You will have real ownership and a dedicated budget to execute your initiatives.
Qualifications
- 4+ years shipping production software, with meaningful recent work using large language models (LLMs) including agents, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool use, and evaluation frameworks.
- Strong full-stack fundamentals: proficiency in TypeScript, React/Next.js, Node.js or Python, and modern deployment and continuous integration (CI) practices.
- Comfort with current model ecosystems such as Claude, OpenAI, and open weights, along with honest judgment about their appropriate applications.
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and building reliable automation across SaaS platforms.
- Ability to design user-friendly tools for non-technical operators, ensuring success across the entire team.
- Bias towards shipping: delivering functional features quickly and iterating openly for continuous improvement.
- Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical tradeoffs clearly to executive stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Web Infrastructure
Take ownership of our new AI-built
website as its permanent manager. Responsibilities include maintaining and hardening the codebase, deploying new pages and campaign landing pages, ensuring optimal performance, implementing SEO best practices, setting up analytics instrumentation, maintaining uptime, and managing deploys. Extend the component and page system to enable marketing to publish on-brand content independently without filing tickets. Maintain the AI-assisted build workflow that produced the site as the standard method of deployment.
Internal AI Tooling
Develop and sustain the EnergyX Brand Studio, an internal application that generates on-brand decks, emails, social assets, and collateral aligned with brand guidelines. Expand capabilities into investor relations (IR) tooling, research assistants, and internal knowledge search systems that access documents, media
databases, and campaign history for efficient information retrieval.
Agentic Workflows and
AutomationDesign and implement intelligent agents and pipelines to handle operational tasks such as content repurposing, media monitoring, investor inbox triage, campaign reporting, and competitive intelligence gathering. Integrate systems including CRM, email platforms, fundraising platforms, and analytics to create automated workflows that operate seamlessly without constant oversight.
Data and Reporting
Manage the
data pipelines and dashboards that underpin marketing and capital markets reporting. This includes tracking campaign performance, funnel metrics, cost of capital, and attribution analysis. Ensure that these reports are self-serve, accurate, and trustworthy to support strategic decision-making.
Governance
Establish and enforce standards for AI usage across the organization. This encompasses evaluation protocols, prompt and rule versioning, cost controls, access management, and
data handling procedures. Given the regulated environment of capital raising, maintaining accuracy and compliance is fundamental to all AI-related activities.
