About The Role

This role involves working with a growing US-based company that operates a business-critical platform supporting field operations, scheduling, routing, and account management. As SoftServe launches a dedicated engineering POD, you will collaborate directly with the client's development team to enhance and scale their existing production system, accelerating the delivery of new capabilities as the business continues to expand.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features within the Angular-based web application, delivering high-quality functionality and seamless user experiences
• Develop and enhance Node.js backend services, ensuring application reliability, scalability, and long-term maintainability
• Collaborate closely with the client's engineers, Technical Project Manager, Release Manager, and cross-functional stakeholders to accelerate product delivery
• Design and implement solutions across key business areas, including CRM, routing and scheduling, account assignments, and operational workflows
• Develop and optimize PostgreSQL-based data access layers using Knex, Objection, or similar technologies to support efficient and maintainable application development
• Support AWS-hosted environments, including deployment and maintenance activities using Elastic Beanstalk and related cloud services
• Contribute to integrations with external data sources, weather services, and ongoing data quality and master data management initiatives
• Optionally support a Flutter-based mobile application and collaborate with teams responsible for mobile product development
  
  
  

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience developing backend applications with Node.js
• Hands-on experience building modern web applications with Angular
• Practical experience with PostgreSQL and query builders or ORM frameworks such as Knex, Objection, or similar technologies
• Experience working with AWS services, ideally including Elastic Beanstalk or comparable platform deployment solutions
• Understanding of monolithic application architectures and environments with manually provisioned infrastructure
• Proficiency in maintaining, troubleshooting, and enhancing large-scale production systems
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to software quality and performance
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working directly alongside distributed engineering teams
• Upper-Intermediate or higher English level for effective communication in an international environment
