Our client is a rising provider of B2B solutions to the iGaming industry - Games Studio/Aggregation. The business is largely focused on the African market, creating mobile-first casino games inspired by its cultures, traditions and urban energy, combining local relevance with world-class gaming experiences to resonate across African markets.

Full-stack engineering

• Ship features end to end: Laravel API, React or canvas front-end, MySQL, deploy. No throwing it over a wall at the halfway point.
• Read the graph before you touch a shared service. Know who consumes it. It is written down; use it.
• Own what you ship: clean, tested, maintainable, in a codebase where coverage is uneven and you will be raising the floor.
• Go from a raw log line to a root cause without someone walking you through the estate first.
• Turn acquisition and retention ideas into working features, on a real-money product where a rounding error is a regulatory problem.

AI-augmented delivery

• Use agents and Claude Code daily to cut the grunt work: scaffolding, refactors, reading unfamiliar repos fast.
• Validate every line before it ships. Generated code gets the same review as handwritten code. No paste and pray.
• Know where it lies, and be able to name the last time it did, and how you caught it.
• Keep the service documentation honest as services are added, renamed or retired, so the next person's context is not a guess.
• Keep prompts scoped and costs in check as a normal part of the work, not a quarterly cleanup.

Your profile

• Years of real production ownership, not a list of tickets; enough time in to have opinions you can defend, and enough to have changed a few.
• Strong PHP/Laravel, comfortable reading and extending a large multi-service codebase you did not write.
• Strong React and TypeScript, plus enough canvas literacy (PixiJS, Three.js or equivalent WebGL) to work on the game side rather than around it.
• MySQL and Redis in production, and GCP or an equivalent cloud: containers, managed SQL, secrets, IAM.
• You can read Terraform and work inside a migration that is still in flight. You don't have to own it.
• AI is in your daily workflow, concretely, and you can describe where it earns its keep and where it costs you time.
• You validate what AI generates. This is the one we will actually probe in the interview.
• Curious, autonomous, low-ego. Comfortable saying no to a shortcut, and comfortable being told no.
• Prior iGaming or another regulated, real-money sector, strongly preferred, not required.
