About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Front-end Developer to join MANTECH’s dynamic team based in Herndon, VA. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on critical projects that directly contribute to national security. As a Front-end Developer, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated software components that support the Intelligence Community. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams of Software Developers, Data Engineers, and System Engineers to create innovative solutions that address complex security challenges. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to mission-driven work. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma with over seven years of experience in software development, demonstrating a solid foundation in coding and system design. Candidates must have at least three years of recent experience developing with Python, along with proficiency in SQL and database management. Experience in front-end and full-stack development is essential, with a demonstrated ability to build scalable and secure applications. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with version control systems such as Git, containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes, and development of RESTful APIs. Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments, Agile methodologies, and tools such as JIRA, Node.js, Jenkins, or GitLab CI will be advantageous. Additional expertise in cloud platforms like AWS or Azure is highly desirable, as it aligns with modern deployment practices and scalable infrastructure management.
