About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a technology team focused on developing and supporting digital products within the Australian financial services sector.

This role is ideal for a hands-on developer with strong expertise in Next.js, React, TypeScript, and C#, who enjoys building scalable, secure, and high-performing applications. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, QA specialists, and fellow developers to deliver innovative solutions while contributing to the ongoing evolution of our digital platforms.

Knowledge of the Australian Superannuation industry is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and C#.
• Build responsive, scalable, and high-performance user interfaces.
• Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and web services.
• Design, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL databases and queries.
• Implement state management solutions such as Redux and Context API.
• Develop reusable components and maintain coding standards across applications.
• Participate in solution design, technical reviews, and security assessments.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, QA teams, and other developers to deliver business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, defects, and performance bottlenecks.
• Write and maintain unit tests and technical documentation.
• Support client requirements and application-related incidents when required.
• Contribute to development best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in software development.

Strong hands-on experience with:

• Next.js
• React
• TypeScript
• C#
• JavaScript
• HTML
• CSS/SASS

• Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Strong SQL and database design experience.
• Experience with source control tools such as Git and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks and testing methodologies.
• Knowledge of responsive design, accessibility standards, and secure coding practices.
• Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery environments.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of the Australian Superannuation industry.
• Experience with Angular.
• Experience with Server-Side Rendering (SSR) and Static Site Generation (SSG).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Microsoft Azure.
• Knowledge of database performance tuning and profiling.
• Exposure to AI/ML technologies including TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with OpenAI, Anthropic, or other LLM APIs.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into web applications.
