About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Software Developer to join our team at our location in Bad Wörishofen. In this role, you will take full responsibility for the development and maintenance of internal and external digital solutions. Your work will span from gathering requirements with stakeholders to designing system architecture, implementing features, deploying applications, and ensuring operational stability. You will play a key role in shaping our technological landscape, contributing your expertise to a variety of projects that leverage modern technologies and development practices. Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background with a passion for software development. Essential qualifications include solid knowledge of object-oriented and/or functional programming paradigms. Practical experience with at least one of our core stacks—C#, Python/React, or WordPress/PHP—is required. Proficiency in handling relational databases such as MS SQL, MariaDB/MySQL, or PostgreSQL, along with SQL expertise, is necessary. Familiarity with version control systems like Git, including branching and review workflows, is expected. A hands-on approach, coupled with a structured working style and the ability to work independently, is vital. Analytical skills to solve complex problems, curiosity about new technologies, and excellent communication skills in German are also important. Preferred additional skills include API design, containerization with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP), and experience operating on-premise servers.

Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing end-to-end project cycles, starting from requirement analysis and architecture design to implementation, deployment, and ongoing operation. You will develop and maintain internal business applications using C# and MSSQL, ensuring their robustness and efficiency. Additionally, you will work on creating and maintaining websites and content management systems with WordPress (PHP/MariaDB). Developing modern web applications for clients using Python for backend development, React for frontend, and PostgreSQL will also be part of your role. You will design and implement interfaces and integrations utilizing REST and GraphQL protocols to facilitate seamless data exchange between various internal and external systems. Building and managing deployment environments with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP), as well as on-premise Linux and Windows servers, will be essential. Furthermore, you will contribute to establishing and maintaining technical standards and architecture within a small, agile team, fostering continuous improvement and innovation.
