About The Role

The role drives the development of high-performance, user-facing features and the robust backend services that power them. This engineer will work across the entire stack, from building responsive React interfaces to designing low-latency API endpoints and database schemas that support rapid growth.

Operating within a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, and platform engineers, the position is central to translating product vision into clean, scalable software. This is an opportunity to own features end-to-end, balancing technical excellence with rapid delivery cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement responsive, accessible front-end interfaces using React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS
  • Build robust backend APIs and microservices in Node.js, Go, or Python to support core product workflows
  • Design, optimize, and maintain database schemas across PostgreSQL and Redis caching layers
  • Integrate and manage third-party APIs, webhooks, and asynchronous message queues using RabbitMQ or Kafka
  • Deploy, monitor, and scale services on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform in a CI/CD environment
  • Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain a high level of code quality and regression prevention
  • Participate in design docs, architecture reviews, and constructive pull request reviews with team members

What We Are Looking For

  • 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience building production-grade web applications
  • Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript/TypeScript, with deep experience in React and Node.js
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and schema design patterns for performance
  • Hands-on experience deploying and operating services on cloud infrastructure, specifically AWS or GCP
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and modern CI/CD orchestration tools like GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
  • Bonus: Experience with GraphQL, NestJS, Next.js, or microservices architecture at scale
