About The Role

The NBPA is seeking a Full Stack Web Developer to develop and maintain scalable digital applications across the organization and its related entities. Reporting to the Director of Digital Products within the IT department, this role contributes throughout the software development lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through development, testing, and deployment.

You will work across front-end and back-end systems, connecting user-facing experiences with reliable server-side services. In addition to building application features, you will contribute to data pipelines, analytics tools, and dashboards that help teams access actionable insights. This position is suited to a detail-oriented developer who enjoys solving technical problems and collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable web applications using modern development practices. Build and support Salesforce solutions, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, integrations, data models, security configuration, and workflow automation. Deliver user interface and API features using technologies such as Vue.js, React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript.

Create reusable code and libraries, and optimize applications for speed, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with product and cross-functional partners to understand business needs, clarify requirements, and define effective technical solutions. Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, and data issues. Contribute to data pipelines, queries, and dashboards that turn business questions into useful insights. Follow cybersecurity principles, maintain sound development practices, and stay informed about relevant tools, technologies, and industry standards.

Qualifications

Applicants should have at least three years of professional experience implementing and maintaining web applications, along with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or completion of a reputable web development coding bootcamp. Experience with Java or Salesforce development tools, including Apex, LWC, and SOQL, is expected. Familiarity with Vue.js, React Native, Node.js, and TypeScript is valuable, as are strong SQL and Python skills.

Additional experience with Tableau Prep or Einstein Analytics, LAMP, Azure, Docker, content management systems, website design best practices, and web analytics platforms is beneficial. Familiarity with SharePoint and software such as Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, and Adobe Creative Suite is also useful. Candidates should understand cybersecurity best practices and be able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical partners.

Preferred experience includes owning Salesforce solutions from design through deployment, including data modeling, Apex development and testing, REST or OAuth integrations, security, and deployment pipelines such as Change Sets, DevOps Center, or CI/CD. Salesforce certifications are an advantage. Experience building data models, pipelines, and dashboards, and translating ambiguous requirements into practical solutions, is also preferred.

Benefits

The NBPA offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid leave, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan with matching employer contributions. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. The NBPA will contact candidates whose qualifications best align with the role and will review applications until the position is filled.
