WiseTeam is a growing technology company developing a SaaS platform that helps organisations manage their projects, tasks, resources, time and business processes in one place.

We are looking for an experienced Full-Stack PHP/Symfony Developer to join our development team and help us build and improve the next generation of WiseTeam.

This is a product development role – you will work on one evolving SaaS platform, have the opportunity to influence technical decisions and see the direct impact of the features you build.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain new and existing WiseTeam modules;
• Build and maintain APIs and system integrations;
• Develop features across both backend and frontend;
• Improve application performance, reliability and code quality;
• Participate in technical planning and architectural decisions;
• Work closely with the team to turn product ideas and business requirements into working solutions;
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development practices and product architecture.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of professional PHP development experience;
• Strong hands-on experience with Symfony;
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and web application architecture;
• Good knowledge of MySQL and relational databases;
• Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript;
• Experience working with REST APIs and integrations;
• Knowledge of Git;
• Ability to work independently, investigate problems and propose solutions;
• A pragmatic approach to software development and code quality.

Nice to have

• Experience with Doctrine ORM;
• Experience with Redis;
• Experience with PHPUnit and automated testing;
• Experience maintaining or developing a long-term SaaS product;
• Experience improving or refactoring existing production systems.
