About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team as part of our company-wide digital transformation initiative. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering modern, cloud-native applications that support our core Telecom domains, including Digital, Field Operations, Ordering, and OSS. You will take ownership of projects from technical discovery through to production operations, ensuring the delivery of secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead technical design efforts, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape innovative solutions that meet our strategic objectives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent field, along with a minimum of five years of professional experience in software development. Proficiency in programming languages such as C#/.NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, Golang, or Java is essential. Candidates should have a proven track record of building and maintaining microservices and Web APIs utilizing GraphQL, gRPC, REST, or SOAP/XML. Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Next.js, Vue, or Angular for developing customer-facing user interfaces is required. Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Azure Service Bus, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar technologies is necessary. Additionally, hands-on experience with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP, and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker is vital. Knowledge of data storage solutions such as Cosmos DB, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Redis, or MongoDB, along with observability platforms like Datadog or New Relic, will be advantageous. Candidates should also be familiar with CI/CD pipelines, test automation tools, and AI-assisted development technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native services and integrations on Azure, leveraging containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and Docker, aligned with modern engineering practices.
• Lead the technical design of features and integrations, including APIs, event streams, and data flows, documenting decisions and guiding implementation through code reviews and pair programming.
• Research and evaluate new technologies, tools, and patterns to enhance team efficiency and product quality.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables through comprehensive unit, integration, and automated testing, adhering to engineering standards while actively addressing defects, security vulnerabilities, and technical debt.
• Practice ownership of services by instrumenting them with monitoring and observability tools, supporting reliable releases, participating in incident response, and implementing follow-up improvements related to resilience, performance, and security.
• Collaborate daily with Product Owners, Architecture, QA, Platform teams, and business partners to refine requirements, identify risks, and ensure alignment on project outcomes.
• Mentor and guide other developers through code reviews, pairing sessions, and coaching to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Deliver incremental working software each sprint by implementing well-defined user stories and technical tasks with accurate effort estimation and effective breakdowns.
