Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive Mid-Level Developer to contribute to the development, performance optimization, and continuous evolution of our digital banking platforms. In this role, you will build full-stack features while taking a hands-on lead on Application Performance Monitoring (APM). A major core duty of this position is leveraging Dynatrace to drive end-to-end observability, detect performance bottlenecks, and ensure high availability across our cloud-native ecosystem.

You will collaborate closely with senior leads, product owners, and cloud architects to translate financial business requirements into high-performing, resilient applications.

Key Responsibilities

APM & Dynatrace Observability (Core Focus)

  • Dynatrace Ownership: Act as the primary team implementer for Dynatrace across front-end and back-end environments—setting up custom dashboards, configuring OneAgent, and creating actionable alerts.
  • Performance Tuning: Proactively monitor application metrics, trace transactions across microservices, identify latency bottlenecks, and optimize code to meet strict SLA/SLO performance targets.
  • Incident Root-Cause Analysis: Utilize Dynatrace Davis AI engine and log analytics to diagnose system anomalies, isolate performance degradation, and shorten Mean Time to Resolution (MTTR).

Full-Stack & Cloud Development

  • Clean Code Implementation: Write, test, and maintain high-quality code across the stack using TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, and Node.js to build scalable microservices and APIs.
  • Serverless Engineering: Build and optimize cloud-native services using AWS serverless patterns (Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, CloudWatch).
  • Engineering Standards: Participate in code reviews, write automated tests (unit, integration), maintain technical documentation, and ensure adherence to security and data protection guardrails.
  • Delivery & Release Operations: Manage tasks in Jira/Confluence, contribute to CI/CD pipeline automation, and support release monitoring and system stability (including occasional off-hours deployment support).

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience: 3–5 years of professional full-stack software development experience (Financial Services or FinTech experience is a strong plus).
  • Mandatory APM Expertise: Hands-on, deep proficiency with Dynatrace is required. Proven track record setting up APM, service flows, synthetic monitoring, and distributed tracing in production cloud environments.
  • Core Tech Stack: Solid proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python with experience building and consuming RESTful APIs and microservices.
  • Cloud Architecture: Practical experience building applications on AWS (specifically serverless features like Lambda, EventBridge, and DynamoDB).
  • Engineering Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD tools, version control (Git), automated testing, and Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • AI-Assisted Engineering: Hands-on experience using AI development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to accelerate coding, debugging, and test generation.
  • AI Agent Concepts: Basic exposure to AI agent frameworks, LLM integrations, or autonomous agent workflows.
