About The Role

Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess a minimum of three years of professional experience in software engineering with Rust. A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is a plus. Candidates should have practical experience designing architecture and containerized services using Kubernetes, along with implementing autoscaling strategies such as Horizontal Pod Autoscaler (HPA), Vertical Pod Autoscaler (VPA), and cluster autoscalers. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins is essential. Proficiency in Python or C++ is preferred. Candidates must hold an active Secret clearance, with TS/SCI clearance being a significant advantage. Additional desirable qualifications include experience with code quality tools like SonarQube, Clippy, cargo-deny, or cargo-audit, as well as knowledge of secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, and architectural frameworks such as DoDAF, SysML, or UAF. A strong GitHub profile showcasing Rust projects is beneficial.
