We are seeking a high-caliber Software Engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, building scalable products, and writing code that has real business impact.

This is not a role where you simply work through an endless ticket queue. You will have meaningful ownership across design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement while collaborating with experienced engineers, product leaders, and business stakeholders.

You will help build reliable, secure, and scalable software used in important production environments while contributing to architecture decisions, engineering standards, and the long-term technical direction of the platform.

This position is fully remote for qualified candidates located in GA, TX, PA, CA, MD, or MI.

What You’ll Own

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications and services.
• Build high-quality backend, frontend, or full-stack solutions depending on project needs.
• Translate business and product requirements into reliable technical solutions.
• Develop clean, maintainable, well-tested code designed for long-term scalability.
• Participate in architecture and system-design discussions.
• Build and integrate APIs, services, databases, and third-party platforms.
• Improve application performance, availability, security, and reliability.
• Diagnose complex production issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and help strengthen engineering standards across the team.
• Develop automated tests and improve overall software quality.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and modern deployment practices.
• Partner with Product, Design, QA, DevOps, Data, and other engineering teams.
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt and simplify complex systems.
• Help modernize legacy components where appropriate.
• Contribute to engineering documentation, reusable components, and shared technical patterns.
• Take ownership from initial design through production deployment and ongoing support.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for engineers who combine strong technical fundamentals with curiosity, ownership, and thoughtful problem-solving.

Strong candidates will typically bring:

• 4+ years of professional software engineering or application development experience.
• Strong proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, C#, Go, Ruby, or similar.
• Experience building production-grade software applications or services.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git-based development workflows.
• Understanding of automated testing and software quality practices.
• Experience working in Agile or iterative development environments.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and successfully within a distributed remote team.

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience may be considered.
• Relevant cloud, engineering, or technology certifications are a plus but not required.
