About the Role
Valenta’s Data & AI Integration Practice is hiring a Full Stack Developer to work across client-facing data products, internal tooling, and AI-driven applications. This is not a traditional full-stack role — we need someone who builds with AI as a native part of their workflow, ships faster because of it, and can operate across front-end, back-end, and data layers with equal confidence.
You will work directly with the practice team on active client engagements, building dashboards, automations, data pipelines, and AI-powered features. You’ll also contribute to internal tools that help scale the practice. Speed and quality both matter here — and we expect AI-assisted development to be the reason you deliver both.
What You’ll Build
- Full-stack web applications using modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Node.js, Python/Flask/FastAPI)
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered business platforms tailored to client requirements, leveraging Azure cloud services and integrating seamlessly with enterprise applications, third-party systems, and customer portals.
- Back-end data pipelines and integrations: ETL/ELT workflows, API integrations, cloud data platform development (Azure SQL, Snowflake)
- AI-powered features: LLM-driven automation, RAG-based retrieval systems, intelligent agents, and prompt-engineered workflows integrated into client solutions
- Figma-to-code implementation: translating design mockups into production-ready front-end code
- Full-stack web applications using modern frameworks (React, Next.js, Node.js, Python/Flask/FastAPI)
Required Experience
- 3+ years of professional software development experience across front-end and back-end
- Minimum 3 years leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or similar. This is a mandatory requirement. Candidates must demonstrate daily use of AI engineering tools to accelerate development, infrastructure automation, and solution delivery.
- Strong front-end skills: React, Next.js, TypeScript, responsive design, component-based architecture
- Strong Azure platform expertise, including hands-on experience with:
- Azure App Services
- Azure Functions
- Azure Container Apps / AKS
- Azure API Management
- Azure Storage Accounts
- Azure Key Vault
- Azure Virtual Networks
- Azure Monitor and Application Insights
- Azure Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Experience building and integrating AI solutions on Azure
- Strong back-end skills: Node.js, Python, REST APIs, SQL databases, cloud services (Azure preferred)
- Experience building or integrating AI/ML features into production applications: LLM APIs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG pipelines, or agentic workflows
- Comfort working with data: SQL fluency, basic ETL understanding, ability to work alongside data engineers on pipeline and integration work
- Self-directed and delivery-oriented — able to take a problem statement, break it down, and ship without heavy handholding
Nice to Have
- Experience with Figma or design-to-code workflows
- Familiarity with n8n, Zapier, or other automation/orchestration platforms
- Background in consulting, agency, or managed-services delivery environments
- Spanish and English fluency (working language is English)
- Experience with ERP data ecosystems (SAP, Dynamics, Plex)
Why This Role Matters
Full stack developers who can build with AI — not just build around it — are the scarcest and most valuable hires in the market right now. This role sits at the intersection of client delivery and practice growth. You won’t just be writing code; you’ll be building the products and tools that define how Valenta’s Data & AI practice operates and delivers value. If you want to shape a growing practice from the inside, this is the seat.
What Sets This Role Apart
- You’re not maintaining legacy systems — you’re building new products and solutions from scratch, with AI as a first-class tool
- Direct impact on practice growth: the tools and products you build will directly drive revenue and client outcomes
- Work with a lean, high-output team where your contributions are visible and your voice matters
- Remote-first, Colombia-based — flexible work arrangement with a global team
