Our client in the Government is seeking Full Stack Developers to work with 3D on service innovation, program review and digital transformation projects, working across 2 to 3 projects.

Duration: 1 year contract from 2026-11-02 to 2027-11-01; the contract may be extended for up to 24 months on the same terms and conditions.

Location: primarily work remotely; however, may be required to attend meetings or work sessions in Edmonton on reasonable notice, up to 10% of total hours.

• Standard Hours of work are 8:15 to 4:30 with a 1 hour lunch break Alberta time, Monday through Friday excluding holidays observed by the province.

• The client reserves the right to alter this work arrangement on reasonable notice.

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related field of study equivalencies will be considered.
2. Experience using source control, particularly Git, in collaborative software development - 5 years.
3. Experience with automated unit testing and integration testing - 3 years.
4. Experience with database technologies, including relational databases and alternatives - 3 years.
5. Experience working as a Full Stack Developer on complex software solutions in an agile team environment - 5 years.
6. Experience working on production applications using modern application frameworks and frontend JavaScript frameworks - 3 years.

B. Two (2) project examples must be provided for each proposed resource, which exemplify/demonstrate the proposed resource’s expertise in the selected service area. Project examples need to be added to the bottom of the resume.

Questions 1 through 3 must be answered for each project example. The Evaluation Team must be able to determine which project any given answer relates to. Where the answer to a Question is the same for both projects, this must be clearly stated.

1. Provide an overview of the project/assignment the proposed resource or the proposed resource’s team was engaged in that demonstrates expertise in the selected service area and role.

2. Describe the sector(s) (i.e. public, private or other) the project/assignment served and team size.

3. Provide a list of specific skills, tools and/or technology used within the project/assignment

Nice to Have Requirements:

1. Experience incrementally transforming existing legacy systems into modern digital services across multiple releases - 2 years.
2. Experience leveraging generative AI and agentic tooling to produce executive-grade outputs, including drafting, analysis, structured retrieval, and workflow automation. Demonstrates proficiency in prompt design, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and critical evaluation of AI outputs for accuracy, risk, hallucination, and sensitivity. Actively builds AI-augmented workflows and routines, going beyond basic tool usage to drive productivity and decision quality - 1 year.
3. Experience with at least one or more from the following tech stack: Frontend: Angular, React, Vue.js. Backend: C# .Net Core, Node.js (NestJS, Express), Python (Django) - 3 years.
4. Experience with design patterns and their application and software architecture considerations - 2 years.
5. Experience with Government of Alberta development guidelines and principles - 2 years.
6. Experience working with CI/CD pipelines - 2 years.
7. Experience working with teams that also apply UX design, service design, design thinking, or human-centered design approaches - 2 years.
