About The Role

The role is a full-stack software engineer building and maintaining user-facing products end-to-end — from React frontends and Node.js services to the PostgreSQL schemas and AWS infrastructure underneath them. This is a builder role with real ownership: features ship weekly, and the code written here is code customers touch every day.

The team is small, senior, and product-focused. Engineers here work directly with designers and product managers, own features from spec through production, and are expected to make sound architectural decisions without layers of review between idea and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship full-stack features using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, owning delivery from technical design through production deployment
• Develop and maintain REST and GraphQL APIs in Node.js, with attention to performance, pagination, and clean API contracts for internal and external consumers
• Model and optimize data in PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and query tuning for production-scale datasets
• Build responsive, accessible frontend interfaces in React with modern tooling (Next.js, Tailwind, or equivalent), iterating quickly on designer and PM feedback
• Contribute to mobile codebases (React Native) for shared product features where client work is required
• Write automated tests, instrument services with observability tooling (Datadog or similar), and participate in on-call rotations and incident reviews
• Review pull requests, mentor less senior engineers, and help raise the bar on code quality and engineering practices across the team
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production web applications
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript across both frontend (React, Next.js) and backend (Node.js, Express or NestJS) environments
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL preferred), including schema design, migrations, and query optimization
• Experience deploying and operating services on AWS or a comparable cloud platform (ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, CI/CD pipelines)
• Track record of owning features end-to-end: scoping, building, testing, deploying, and monitoring with minimal supervision
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus: React Native experience, Terraform or IaC exposure, prior startup or high-ownership environment experience, and contributions to open source
