Job Title: Software Developer

Location: Remote from Poland (EST Time Zone)

Contract Duration: Long-term (6 months + extensions)

Hourly Rate: $40 - $48 USD

Job Description:

We are a global Systems Integrator seeking an experienced Software Developer who can design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++, Kotlin, and Python.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using C++, Kotlin, and Python.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in software architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.
• Develop and optimize backend services, APIs, and system integrations.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, architects, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to software quality standards.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and software deployment activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for developed solutions.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements where appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in software development with strong proficiency in:
• C++
• Kotlin
• Python
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience building scalable, reliable, and high-performance applications.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Work Environment:

• Remote from Poland.
• Must work in US Eastern Time (EST) zone.
• Long-term contract (6 months + extensions).
