Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Web Developer to design, develop, maintain, and improve the company’s websites and web-based applications. The successful candidate will work closely with management and other departments to build secure, responsive, user-friendly, and high-performing web solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain company websites and web applications.
• Build responsive websites that work effectively on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Create and integrate databases and APIs where required.
• Implement new features and functionality based on business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and fix website bugs, errors, and performance issues.
• Maintain website security and implement appropriate security practices.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and search engines (SEO).
• Manage website content and technical updates when required.
• Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, APIs, and other required systems.
• Perform testing and quality assurance before deploying new features.
• Maintain backups, documentation, and version control for web projects.
• Monitor website performance and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Work with designers, IT staff, and other departments to deliver web projects.
• Stay updated with modern web development technologies and best practices.

Required Technical Skills

The candidate should have experience with some or all of the following:

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
• Responsive web design
• Front-end frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular
• Back-end technologies such as PHP, Laravel, Node.js, Python, or .NET
• MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases
• REST APIs and API integration
• Git / GitHub or other version-control systems
• Website hosting, domains, DNS, and basic server management
• Basic SEO and website performance optimization
• Web security fundamentals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• 1–3 years of relevant web development experience is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of web development principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing business management systems or dashboards.
• Experience with e-commerce websites or online platforms.
• Experience with cloud hosting and deployment.
• Knowledge of UI/UX principles.
• Experience working with CMS platforms such as WordPress.
• Knowledge of software development and project-management practices.

Working Conditions

The Web Developer will work closely with the IT and management teams and may be required to participate in meetings, development projects, system maintenance, and technical support activities.
