2. About the Opportunity:

The Full Stack Software Engineer plays a critical role in developing and delivering software solutions that expand access to mental health care. This position involves owning features end-to-end, from conception through production, and collaborating across teams to build scalable, secure, and user-focused applications. The engineer contributes to the company''s mission by building technology that supports millions of users.

3. Responsibilities:

• Develop full-stack features and see them through to production and maintenance

• Write clean, secure, readable, and scalable code following best practices

• Collaborate with engineers and other team members

• Integrate with both external and internal APIs

• Develop new Python products and enhance existing code for scalability and integration

• Write and optimize SQL queries and design database schemas

• Create complex backend algorithms

• Profile and optimize new and legacy code

• Use CSS and Typescript to complete frontend functionality

• Ensure cross-device and cross-platform compatibility

• Work in an agile environment with continuous deployment

• Engage deeply with product mission and success

• Participate in a collaborative and positive team environment

4. Requirements:

• Legal authorization to work in the US

• Minimum 5 years of web development experience with challenging projects

• At least 3 years of SQL experience including schema design and complex queries

• Strong understanding of web development concepts and principles

• Demonstrated experience on full-stack projects with frontend, backend, and database components

• Ability to design, develop, and launch web applications independently

• Quick learner with an independent approach to skill acquisition

• Strong execution focus with eagerness to deliver impactful solutions

• Familiarity with web and SQL security best practices

• Comfort working without depending solely on frameworks

• Experience using git in a collaborative environment

• Willingness to travel to San Jose, California up to three times per year

5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $160,000

• Eligible for a performance bonus

• Compensation package includes additional benefits
