About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer On-Premise Services (m/w/d) to join our dynamic team in Bonn. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and modernization of our desktop applications used in financial and tax-related contexts. You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining software solutions that align with current industry standards and client needs. The position allows for flexible working arrangements, including part-time and remote work options, fostering a healthy work-life balance. As a key team member, you will collaborate closely with tax professionals and other stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust software solutions, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation in our product suite.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise with a solid foundation in object-oriented programming, particularly with C#. Experience with Visual Studio and relational database systems such as Microsoft SQL Server is essential. A good understanding of clean coding practices and structured software development, especially with WinForms, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a structured, analytical, and solution-oriented approach to problem-solving, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts. Excellent communication skills in German are required, along with a passion for teamwork and knowledge sharing. Additional advantageous skills include familiarity with agile methodologies, version control systems like Git, and exposure to AI-supported tools in software development.

Responsibilities
- Design and conceptualize software solutions for financial and tax-related applications utilizing current .NET technologies.
- Analyze, modernize, and enhance existing desktop applications to improve performance and usability.
- Participate in all project phases, including requirements analysis, specification, development, and testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Engage in close collaboration with tax professionals to accurately translate business requirements into functional software.
- Share knowledge within the team through training sessions, coaching, and documentation to foster continuous learning and development.
