Introduction

A leader in advanced construction servicing the semiconductor, datacentre and energy sectors is seeking a Senior Full Stack Web Developer to build and maintain proprietary internal platforms used across their global project delivery programme. The role sits within an offshore Engineering Centre of Excellence and offers the opportunity to architect and deliver production-grade web applications for a high-profile, technically complex programme.

Role Responsibilities

The post-holder will own the development and maintenance of a large-scale construction scheduling and task management web platform built on Blazor Server and .NET Core. Day-to-day accountabilities include:

• Architect and build Blazor Server web applications with reusable, well-tested component libraries
• Design and consume .NET Core APIs; implement server-side rendering and ASP.NET Core page lifecycle management
• Own database interactions using Entity Framework Core — migrations, raw SQL, stored procedures, and T-SQL functions
• Build large-scale data grid UIs (Syncfusion or equivalent) for construction scheduling, task management, and project/phase/team administration
• Implement real-time live change notifications using Signal-R
• Configure and maintain IIS/Windows Server hosting environments; manage deployments
• Lead Azure DevOps and Git source control, branching strategy, and release management
• Collaborate with the analytics team to expose data to Power BI; own SQL jobs and data interfaces
• Implement authentication and authorisation frameworks; build custom validation components
• Write unit tests, technical documentation, and contribute to sprint planning and code reviews
• Mentor mid-level developers and champion best practices across the engineering team

Experience Requirements

• You are required to be based in South Africa
• 5 - 8 years of professional software development experience in a senior individual contributor role
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Blazor Server production experience with reusable component architecture
• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET Core (ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core)
• Production experience with SQL Server — stored procedures, table/scalar functions, query optimisation, SQL Agent jobs
• Experience building CRUD-heavy data grid web interfaces (Syncfusion, Telerik, or custom)
• Entity Framework Core — database-first and migration approaches in production
• Git source control; Azure DevOps CI/CD experience is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with IIS/Windows Server hosting and deployment
• Signal-R, High Charts, and Power BI integration experience are advantageous
• Prior experience working in a remote role with US time zone overlap is required

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent practical experience and demonstrated capability will be considered
