About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Engineer to join our SalonBiz team within the EverWell vertical of EverCommerce. In this role, you will be an integral part of an agile development team responsible for delivering product enhancements and technical improvements that create value for our customers in the beauty industry. Your expertise will help shape our core products built with Angular, JavaScript, and PL/SQL, with a primary focus on frontend development. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Design, and QA to develop high-quality, secure software solutions. Your contributions will include participating in the full software development lifecycle, from planning and development to deployment and monitoring. The role offers flexibility in work location, with options for remote work or in-office presence if located near Denver, CO, and is suitable for candidates eligible to work without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software engineering experience working within agile teams
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular and JavaScript, with Angular being essential
• Solid understanding of agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and modern delivery techniques such as feature flagging and partial deployments
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
• Experience in collaborative programming, mentoring, and coaching other engineers
• Familiarity with React or other modern frontend frameworks is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in a distributed, remote team environment
• Proficiency in working across the full software development lifecycle, including release pipelines and deployment processes
  
  

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance core SalonBiz products utilizing Angular, JavaScript, and PL/SQL, with a focus on frontend development
• Deliver secure, high-quality software while managing new feature development, bug fixes, and technical improvements
• Implement and participate in an agile, iterative development process, breaking down larger initiatives into smaller, deliverable releases
• Contribute to the entire software lifecycle, including release management, monitoring, feature flagging, and deployment
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Engineering, and QA to ensure customer satisfaction
• Engage in technical planning, code reviews, and continuous process improvements to optimize development efficiency
• Participate in on-call rotations as required to support production systems and ensure system reliability
