About the Opportunity:

The SENIOR SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER L4 will play a critical role in building and evolving a healthcare analytics platform. The position involves full-stack development, data engineering, and business intelligence, contributing directly to the delivery of secure, compliant, and insightful analytics solutions. This role is central to advancing the platform's capabilities, ensuring high-quality software development, and supporting critical healthcare data operations.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software including front-end, back-end, and APIs.
• Build and enhance web application features using Angular, C#, REST APIs, and SQL.
• Develop and optimize data-driven reports and dashboards for healthcare data.
• Support data ingestion and transformation pipelines for analytics reporting.
• Write clean, testable code following team standards and test-first practices.
• Work with MSSQL and Snowflake for feature development, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Participate in architecture and code reviews, demos, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with product management to scope, estimate, prioritize, and deliver enhancements.
• Take ownership of technical solutions from proposal through completion.
• Handle protected health information (PHI) and personally identifiable information (PII) in compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Participate in an on-call rotation to support critical production issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development practices, team processes, and platform quality.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years professional experience in data analytics, business intelligence, full-stack web development, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related; advanced degrees or equivalent experience preferred.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in MSSQL and Snowflake, including performance tuning.
• Strong full-stack development skills: Angular (front-end), C# (back-end), REST API design.
• Advanced Power BI experience including DAX, data modeling, and dashboard/report development.
• Solid AWS experience and knowledge of cloud-native architecture and deployment.
• Experience with healthcare data, understanding PHI, PII, HIPAA, and data security/privacy requirements.
• Ability to independently manage complex technical projects from concept to delivery.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a small, high-ownership engineering team.
• Commitment to software engineering best practices including code quality and documentation.
• Authorization to work in the United States; no immigration sponsorship offered.

Pay Range and Compensation Package:

• Base compensation range of $105,000 to $160,000 USD, dependent on experience, skills, location, business needs, and internal equity.
• Potential eligibility for performance-based incentives in addition to base compensation.
