About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our dynamic team at the Naval Nuclear Laboratory. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying advanced software solutions that support enterprise artificial intelligence (AI) systems. Your expertise will contribute to building AI-enabled applications, autonomous agents, and integration components that enhance our organization’s ability to leverage next-generation intelligent technologies. Qualifications

Candidates must have experience designing applications within secure, highly regulated, or mission-critical environments and possess knowledge of cloud ecosystems like Azure, AWS, or OCI, along with modern data platforms. Strong communication skills, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities are critical for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of AI-powered applications, tools, and intelligent agents aligned with enterprise strategy and operational needs.
  • Build, test, and deploy scalable backend and frontend components utilizing modern software engineering practices.
