Role Description

The Software Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain features that power Remolity’s remote job platform. Day-to-day responsibilities include implementing back-end services and APIs, improving system performance, and collaborating with product and design teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable solutions. The role also involves reviewing code, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to technical documentation and continuous improvement of development practices. This is a full-time remote role, allowing the Software Engineer to work from any location while participating in distributed team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Solid foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Hands-on experience in Software Development and Programming, with proficiency in at least one modern programming language.
• Practical skills in Back-End Web Development, building and maintaining APIs, services, and databases.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ability to apply it to scalable, maintainable codebases.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Experience working in remote or distributed teams, with effective communication and time management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms, security best practices, and testing frameworks is a plus.
